The quaint old town of Knutkup sits high above the ocean, surrounded by precipitous cliffs and connected to the mainland by a mysteriously inaccessible bridge. It’s a place for misfits and weirdos - such as JEB, an amiable, but sometimes irascible young man, whose thirst for fame is perpetually frustrated by a lack of discernible talent. What JEB, and the wider community of oddballs don’t know, is that they have not congregated in Knutkup by accident or happen-stance; behind their ordinary little lives, shadowy intrigues are being played out...

JEB is already a cult comedy figure online. He has starred in more than 60 short films, which have attracted an audience of nearly 100 million people, and scooped several awards, including the Mobile and Internet TV Comedy Award at MIPCOM.
The show twists sitcom conventions into something raucous, irreverent, quite rude, a little surreal, but definitely big hearted and, most of all, fun. It centres on the residents of Catshambles, the rambling guest house overlooking Knutkup's central square. The diverse cast of deeply flawed, but eminently likeable characters, are mostly unaware that they have been herded together by malevolent forces, and are simply living out their strange existence as best they can.
Storylines begin with familiar preoccupations - romance, ambition, rivalry, greed - but, given the nature of the players, inevitably spiral into comic lunacy, like an unholy collision of Spaced, The Young Ones and Monty Python.
Slowly unravelling throughout the series are JEB's ambitions to escape Knutkup, and the troubling plot behind the towns-folk’s surreptitious incarceration.

Jeb's World is intended as an initial series of ten half-hour programmes. It will be realised in CGI, utilising a distributed animation pipeline, and highly efficient production methodology, which can deliver beautiful results on a modest budget.
