Unexpected events require an ordinary family to find extraordinary ways to laugh and play together, turning their day into a patchwork cabaret of songs, stories and nonsense. Join Teddy, Immy and their grown-ups as they go on an adventure up Upper Hill, discover the bonkers world of Sally Alan Pixie Biscuit, figure out what the strange noise in the attic is and meet Bob the bumblebee with his bucket full of 'Bs'. Come and join the fun!
Giggle! Wiggle! Plop! was developed as a stage show in 2023 with support from Arts Council England and toured towards the end of the year, proving popular with young audiences and parents alike.
The show uses songs, storytelling, poetry, games and audience interaction to encourage imaginative play, and presents noisy, funny, madcap alternatives to tablets and telly.
We are developing a feature adaptation of the stage production which expands the scope and ambition of the story and setting without losing the hilarious family dynamic which was key to the success of the original.
