Fourteen year old Lauren is invited for a date at the tumbled down Barley Barn by her older boyfriend. He has also invited two of his friends. Lauren is left broken. In her fury she gives birth to a demon - a projection of her anger and hate - and a covenant is forged: she will give the lives of her attackers in exchange for the life she could have lived.
